I LOVE FINAL FANTASY GAMES. Anyone else here play them? Which was your favorite and why?
For me it would have to be 10. Great characters, storyline(made me cry), and graphics.

I used to like Final Fantasy. The old ones kicked ass, and pretty much everything up until 7 or 9 was alright, but 10 was a little lame. And X-2 was super weak. Man I hated that game. It sucks huge.

Agreed about X-2.

Damn....that was fast. I just posted and there was a new reply. Anyways, yeah. I wish they'd take the random battle shit out of the games.

After you spend hours playing the game and getting immersed in the story, you want to move on, fight actual characters, and develop the plot, not dick around with level 1 slime-zombies every time you take 2 fucking steps. It just annoys me after a while.

Yea...10 has a good battle system though.

Yeah, it's a little better. You know, I never played through the entire thing of that, so when I rented X-2 I was lost and confused. And baffled, I mean the dressspheres? What? That was gay.

Ha, yeah. Even the characters blew. Are you sure 10 is your favorite? Personally I think 7(although vastly overrated) pwns 10. There was also another one I played that was really cracked. Probably 9. Every scene had someone kissing on a boat.

10 was great. They should never have made a sequal. 7 was great too. 8...not so much.

Yeah, the sequel was very lame. Do you play any of the other ones for GBA, like Chronicles or whatever? I've never had the chance to play those.

Haven't played those.

Really? Cool...I should've kept my Super Nintendo, doubt I would've been able to find the games for it though.

I still have all my games...I'm really surprised I had all the cords for it though, considering how long I've had it.

Ha. I keep having to sell mine to get the money to buy a new one. Except for my N64. It got struck my lightning. I suck.

Even several years later, I do believe that Final Fantasy 7 was one of the best games ever made. Ever. I actually will never get tired of that, I don't know why. But everything about that game was magnificent, except for the fact that they never made a sequel. That game made me want to work for Shin-Ra or become a member of the Turks, or something.
Then I played Final Fantasy 8. Pretty good too, although not as good as 7. Even today I have a totally huge crush on Selphie Tilmitt. She should've totally hooked up with Zell. Thank Jesus Christ that I eventually got The Sims 2 and got those two married. Goddamn, they're awesome.
I also think I have just about every single Final Fantasy 7 and 8 song on my computer somewhere *listens to Shin-Ra theme*. Same goes for Chrono Trigger. Goddamn, I forgot how much I used to love gaming.
PS. Now I'm getting a hard-on just thinking about the fact that they're making a Final Fantasy 7 movie.

They're making a movie? Hmmm....

Yeah, I heard they're making a movie called Final Fantasy 7: The Advent Children, or something. Name sounds quite lame, but I want to see it anyway simply because it's Final Fantasy and because the last Final Fantasy movie was pretty good.

Strangely enough, I know a lot of peopel who didn't like the last one much, and I think I can understand why. There were some lame things about it and it wasn't that spectacular overall, but I liked it quite a bit, I don't know why.

What was the last one called? I think I heard of it, but it looked really douche.

I think it was just called "Final Fantasy: The Movie," or something.

I thought there was a spirit one. With spirit in the title. or ghost.

It wasn't anything spectacular, but it was better than I had expected. I don't normally like movies that are entirely computer-generated for novelty purposes, but this one was pretty good.

Ah, cool. I probably won't see it or this new one though. Unless the new one follows the actual game storyline closely. It'd be cool to see it all put into a movie.
