There's the Nintendo Revolution, the Sony Playstation 3 and the Microsoft X-Box 360. Which one(s) have currently caught your eyes, and for what reason?
Currently, I like the Revolution, but mainly only because I have a friend in England who plays Smash Bros. who thinks he can kick my ass at it, and he really wants to play me after hearing I play. I'm neglecting to tell him how good I am until he's a pile of mush on the floor.
The PS3 looks pretty badass, but so far I haven't seen any games that appeal to me. The second I saw the Final Fantasy 7 demo for it (it's not an actual game listed, but there is going to be an FF for PS3) I'm definately gonna buy one, if only just to look at the light shine off of it's uber shinyness.
X-Box 360...I've never been a fan of X-Box to be honest... I never liked Halo, and anything else on the X-Box that I liked was available for one of the other consoles. I imagine after posting that, about a hundred-something Halo players to come online and type "OMG U FCKING NOOB, WHY U SAY U HATE HALO U F@G?" I just don't, alright?
Well, what are you looking forward to in the next generation?

Hrm, I don't know much about the new generation consoles, but my PlayStation 2 has been quite good to me so if I do decide to buy any it would be the PlayStation 3. I like computer games better personally, but if the new PlayStation has WWE Wrestling games or role-playing games I may actually consider investing in it, those are my favorite kinds of console games.

Definitely going to pick up the Xbox 360, being an Xbox fan and all. I need to see if the online capabilites are going to be as good as everyone's saying they are.
PS3 is a big maybe. I never really liked the PS2 that much. All of the good games on it could also be found for the Xbox, and the other supposedly "good" games were old(GTA, Final Fantasy, yawn). eh
Nintendo Revolution sounds good, but I probably won't be able to afford it.

You must excuse me...I <3 video games, but I don't pay attention to what's coming out.

Since I'm saving up my money for an even better Mac, I probably won't get one of these consoles until about a few years after the release... I'm thinking of the Xbox 360, since from what I've seen, it's pretty cool. I haven't seen much of the PS3, so I don't really know about it.

Currently scheduled for the release date of the Nintendo Revolution will be Super Smash Bros. Online! (I don't know the name, but I call it that) And, you guessed it, Online Compatibility.

It's about time Nintendo caught up with the Xbox on that front. I would've kept my Gamecube if it had more online options.

I will gladly take on anyone who wants to play me on the new Smash Bros. when it comes out. Just name the time, the place, and I'll be there...

Definately the Revolution because it'll have all the previous titles I've come to love and the PS3 for the sheer library of games it'll probably have. Never really was a fan of the Xbox though *shrugs*

That would be pretty cool, I've never found a properly functional N64 emulator although I have ones for NES, SNES, and GBA.

I hate to bash Nintendo(long-time fan here), but truly that's the only thing everyone's been saying about the Revolution. I mean the PS3 and Xbox 360 have been SERIOUSLY upgraded. Whenever someone mentions them it's like a battle of power between the two. Someone mentions the Revolution and the only thing people ever say about it is its ability to emulate old games.
I'm sorry, but I'd rather be kicking ass on new, more powerful systems with new, more powerful games(especially online, thanks Xbox Live) than playing the same old shit I was playing when I was 5. I'd certainly like to play old games like that again, but between playing old games and new ones, I'll stick with the new ones.
